The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
If you have...
Recognised education qualification such as Bachelor degree, Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate PLUS A qualification in adult literacy and/or numeracy such as Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy or Graduate Diploma in Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Practice
Three years (post degree), or equivalent, relevant and current vocational/community experience or teaching or training of adults
Hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 with the two additional units as listed below) or a Diploma in VET or Adult Education
TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor or; TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.
and one of the following:
TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor or; TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools or; TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.

Total Remuneration Package: Part Time Casual Teacher rates from $65.33 per hour to $82.75 per hour

1. Recognised education qualification such as Bachelor degree, Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate PLUS A qualification in adult literacy and/or numeracy such as Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy or Graduate Diploma in Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy Practice
2, Three years (post degree), or equivalent, relevant and current vocational/community experience or teaching or training of adults
3. Hold the following: Diploma in VET or Adult Education OR Certificate IV TAE40116
4. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
5. High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
6. Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational setting.
7. Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment.
8. Proven strengths in problem solving and change management.
