Hours: 5 x positions at 64 hours per fortnight

4 x Residential Services positions

1 x Mental Health Services position

Status: Part Time - Fixed Term (03/02/2020 - 31/01/2021)

About the Enrolled Nurse Graduate Program 2020 - Aged Care/ Mental Health

The Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program provides an opportunity for newly registered enrolled nurses to make the transition to professional practice in a structured and supported 12 month program. As part of the Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program, graduate enrolled nurses are supported to consolidate and develop clinical and professional competence, in line with the Enrolled Nurse standards for practice, commensurate with the expected level and experience of a beginning practitioner.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse without conditions and complies with the Enrolled Nurse standards for practice (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia)

Essential:
02.Graduated as an Enrolled Nurse within the past year and NOT participated in a graduate program at another health service

Essential:
03.Demonstrate commitment to providing person centred care which focuses on the individual and their support networks

Essential:
04.Established nursing skills and ability to work within safe practice principles at the level of a beginning enrolled nurse as evidenced by clinical placement reports

Essential:
05.Ability to integrate theory into practice
